On January 27, 1944, the siege of Leningrad was completely lifted – one of the most terrible and inhumane periods of the Great Patriotic War ended. For 900 days, the inhabitants of the beautiful city resisted cold, hunger and cruelty. And all this time, despite the shelling, exhibitions were opened, performances were staged, music was played…
On January 27, 2024, a concert dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the lifting of the blockade will take place in the Warehouse concert hall. Soloists of the Nizhny Novgorod Pushkin Opera and Ballet Theater will perform works by Leningrad composers who shared the days of the blockade with their hometown.
