Vera is a fairy tale theater! About fifty years ago, young Vera Gorshkova created the Theater Studio of the Future, with its name turning out prophetic. This amateur studio brought forth a new chamber theater for children and youth in Nizhny Novgorod, which turned professional in 1991. Between 2013 and 2018, the building was closed for reconstruction, during which time the theater had to make its temporary quarters in various concert venues. In 2018, the theater reopened in the renovated building with a fascinating façade, a bigger stage and auditorium, and the new sound equipment. The repertoire includes many classics such as Dwarf Nose, The Captain's Daughter, Hamlet, Scarlet Sails, and all recognize the great love and interesting approach with which the performances are made. This is one of the most popular theaters in Nizhny Novgorod and you should buy tickets in good time, at least two months in advance if you are keen to attend a performance shortly before the New Year.
