It is an embodiment of utopia, one of the few social cities built in the former USSR. The easiest and quickest way to get here is to take the metro from the city center to the «Park Kultury» terminus, which takes about half an hour. The area has an undeserved (though many would challenge that) reputation of being crime-ridden, it is also on the outskirts of the city, but at the same time this is the place to go to if you want to feel the rhythm of a city within a city and to appreciate the Stalinist and Avant-Garde architecture.
