Tanya Savicheva died on July 1, 1944 in the Shatki hospital; she was 14 years old. The burial place was discovered only in the 70s, and on May 31, 1981, a monument was installed at the Shatki cemetery. Now, there is a marble tombstone and a stele with a bronze bas—relief.
